Jeury Perez, a cherished student-athlete and proud member of the Pleasantville High School Greyhounds, died in 2026 at the youthful age of 19. The Pleasantville community is grieving her terrible death. Family, friends, classmates, teammates, and teachers are profoundly saddened by his unexpected death as they reflect on a brilliant young life cut short.
Jeury, a member of the Pleasantville High School Class of 2025, was noted for his compassion and optimism he brought to others as well as for his athletic ability. Determined, devoted, and proud, he represented his university and team with heart and commitment as a Greyhounds student-athlete.
Jeury was a kind, humorous, driven young guy with a natural knack for relating to others, those who knew him said. He gave everyone around him encouragement and energy whether in the classroom, on the field, or hanging around with friends. His genuine personality and wit made him somebody others wanted to be around, and his absence will be greatly missed.
