Pollok Man Dies, Spouse Severely Hurt in Lufkin Collision with Community Pediatrician

Hadnot was traveling west on College Drive in a Kia when his car was hit by a Mercedes operated by George Fidone, a 65-year-old from Lufkin. Fidone is recognized in the community as a pediatrician at the Children’s Clinic of Lufkin.

Rescue teams responded to the scene soon after the incident. Hadnot was declared dead at the location due to the injuries he incurred from the collision. His passenger, Paige Turner, 24, was rushed to a hospital in Tyler with serious injuries. Family members later confirmed that Turner is Hadnot’s spouse. A dog that was inside the Kia also lost its life in the incident.
