He is survived by his devoted wife, Missy Ann Barrett; his daughter, Samantha Scholl (Joseph) from Calvert City; his son, Shane Barrett (Katherine) from Benton; brothers Marty Barrett (Beverly) and Randy Barrett (Amy), both hailing from Calvert City; grandchildren “MJ” Barrett and Evie Kate Barrett; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Barry was preceded in death by his father, David Lee Barrett, and his cousin, Matthew Barrett.

Visitation for Barry will occur on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, located at 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, KY. A funeral service will take place at 4:00 PM, conducted by Bro. Jason Logsdon and Bro. Wesley Morehead, with interment following at Marshall County Memorial Gardens.
