Wynona Smith Brown of London, Kentucky, born on March 24, 1939, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and meaningful relationships that will continue to be treasured by family, friends, and all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Wynona was known for the connections she built and the kindness she extended to others. Her presence brought comfort, friendship, and encouragement to those around her. Whether through family gatherings, conversations with friends, or simple acts of care, she touched many lives and created lasting memories that will not be forgotten.
Those who knew Wynona remember her as someone who valued relationships and appreciated the importance of family. Wynona was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Jackson Smith and Zola Hall Igo. While their loss was deeply felt throughout her life, she carried forward their values and memories with grace and strength.
She is survived by her significant other, Jackson E. Brown; her sister, Emma Earl Smith Brewer of London, Kentucky; her nephews, Joseph Walsh and Robert Walsh Jr.; her niece, Winona Walsh; and her cousins, Lanny Brashear, Tim Couch, Stephanie Tallevast, Laura Rinker, and Rebecca Graham. She is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and friends who will continue to honor her memory.
Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Wynona’s life and legacy. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in London, Kentucky. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12:30 p.m. at the church.
As loved ones come together to mourn her passing and celebrate her life, they will remember a woman whose kindness, friendship, and devotion to family left a lasting impact.
