HUMBOLDT, Kan. The Humboldt, Kansas community is mourning the tragic death of John Paul, who perished in the 1000 block of Sycamore Street late Sunday evening from a fatal gunshot. Family, friends, and neighbors have been grief-stricken as they accept the sudden and senseless loss of a valued member of their neighborhood brought on by the devastating event.
Authorities reacted to reports of shots fired around 5 p.m. Sunday and found Mr. Paul with a gunshot wound to the torso.
