Authorities claim Allen Osborne, 39, of Owensboro was taken into custody after a troubling roadside occurrence in Central City.
Central City Police Department reported that on Saturday authorities reacted to a 911 call reporting a man having sexual activity with a dead deer along Phillip Stone Way. The caller notified law authorities right away after seeing the event.
Osborne was still present when cops arrived. After being brought to the Muhlenberg County Jail to change clothing, researchers observed blood and deer hair on his clothes and comparable traces on his body.
Under Kentucky law, Osborne has been accused of sexual offenses against animals, categorized as a Class D felony. Should found guilty, the crime carries a possible sentence of one to five years in jail.
Given its unsettling nature, the event has generated intense local community reactions. Authorities have stated that the case will proceed through the Muhlenberg County court system and that at this moment no more information about the investigation is being given out.
Osborne is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, as with all criminal cases.
