 We sadly announce the death of Huntsville, Alabama resident Joe Driggers, a respected member, who died following a valiant fight with mental health issues. Family, friends, and coworkers are profoundly saddened by his passing; it reminds us of the need of empathy and awareness for mental well-being.

Originally from Longwood, Florida, Joe attended Berkmar High School then rose to become CEO of HAWK Enterprises Group, LLC. A motivated and inspiring person, he matched his work with his giving and concern for those around him. Friends and family recall him as one whose presence could raise morale and whose friendship was real and unwavering.

Real are mental health issues, and Joe's death highlights the immediate need for understanding, support, and honest discussion. Those who knew him advise friends and family to stay in touch, show love, and provide encouragement as even the strongest among us could fight unseen struggles.
